Harvested by hand, Flor de Sal is the fine film of crystals that forms on the surface of the salt pan water. After harvesting, it is sun-dried and undergoes no processing, retaining all its flavour, the moisture of the sea, and its unique nutritional properties.
To this delicacy, we have added a mix of flakes of three organic seaweeds – sea lettuce (Ulva rigida), Porphyra dioica and Irish moss (Chondrus crispus) – an excellent source of fibre, polyunsaturated fatty acids, iodine, and a balance of vitamins and minerals.
